     Four Dead in Ohio has been used in "American History 1945-Present," "Ohio History," and English composition classes. The book is also suitable for seminars in historiography and satire. 

     On the high school level, the book has also been used by a prep school for its senior class project: a mock trial of the National Guard officers suspected of giving the order to fire.
 

      Four Dead in Ohio by William A. Gordon (ISBN 0-937813-05-2, 302 pages, paperback, $15.95, indexed) was originally published by Prometheus Books in 1990 under the title The Fourth of May: Killings and Coverups at Kent State. The paperback edition, published by North Ridge Books on the 25th anniversary, is revised and updated.
